Polaroid
by studio ollo
In 2023, Polaroid asked us to help them expand their office onto a new floor. Working closely with the Polaroid team, we planned out the project, carefully designed the space, and oversaw the construction process. We partnered with Nornorm for circular office furniture and were happy to work with Ben Webb Furniture and Buis en de Jong. We tried to minimize impact on the environment in a few ways. We designed custom plywood window frames that can be easily taken apart and rearranged as needed. The acoustic ceilings were made from recycled paper, and the phone booths were lined with felt made from recycled PET bottles. Situated overlooking Amsterdam's IJ river, we designed the layout to make the most of the scenic views. Thank you Polaroid for the nice collaboration!
