I’m an Amsterdam based architect working with architecture, interior, and lighting design in one practice. In my work, space and materials come together naturally, and light is essential to how a space is experienced.

Depending on the project, I work independently or in close collaboration with other studios, forming a flexible collective that adjusts to each needs. Through our experience, passion for design, and attention to detail, we explore and research creative proposals. Our work is guided by respect and connection to its context and people. It focuses on sustainable materials and responsible solutions to reduce impact on the environment, and it creates spaces that are adaptable and last. Interior and lighting design support comfort, health, and well-being, shaping spaces that feel natural, balanced, and feel good to live in

I enjoy working closely with people ~ listening carefully, asking questions, and understanding what truly matters. From there, ideas evolve into unique proposals that support a more sustainable way of living.

Alongside this, I practice Ashtanga, Pranayama and Ayurveda. These learnings have shaped my attention to grounding, balance, rest, and breath, and to creating spaces that are easy to live in.

I’m currently working on projects in The Netherlands, Greece, and Spain, and collaborating with Frans van Hooijdonk.

Since 2006, I’ve combined both works, developing my own independent practice and as part of architectural studios in The Netherlands and Spain. This path has enriched my experience with a broad range of projects ~ from cultural and educational to residential and commercial developments, including bespoke private villas.

What follows is a selection of projects I’ve been part of ~ moments of shared creativity, exploration, and learning. Whether they reached completion or remained as studies, each project has been an opportunity to refine the way I design, deepening my attention to how spaces are experienced, detail and a high standard of quality.
